Kansas City, KS - One day after collecting their third-straight Mid-Atlantic Region honors, Messiah seniors Jeremy Payne and Carter Robbins were named First Team All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA).

The All-American honor is the third in as many seasons for Payne, with all three being for the First Team. He joins Kai Kasiguran as the only men's players to receive three All-American honors across a single career, though Payne becomes the first-ever player to receive three First Team honors.*

Payne led the Falcons with career-best numbers in goals (21) and points (52). He also tied his career-high with 10 assists, good for third on the team. In impressive fashion, Payne's 21 goals were four more than his previous high (set in both 2012 and 2013) and accomplished on just 87 shots-- 11 less than he took last season. Seven of his tallies were game-winners this season, and this year he was named the Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year for the third time in as many years.

The All-American award for Robbins is his second-straight following last season's Third Team recognition. He has played as arguably the best centerback in the nation for three seasons, and this year he helped Messiah collect a nation-leading 0.30 goals against average. He also led a defense that picked up 18 shutouts, the second-most in program history (19, 2002). This season he also picked up his second-straight Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year award.

This season the Falcons finished 21-1-1, with their lone loss coming by a 1-0 score in the Sectional Final against eventual National Champion Tufts University. Payne and Robbins leave the program as members of a class that collected an astonishing 86-3-5 (.941) record across four seasons, including two National Championships.

*Kasiguran remains the only player in program history to win four All-American awards.
