Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee announced the field of 56 teams that will compete in the 2012 Baseball Championship, with Messiah College placed among the six teams at Christopher Newport University.
Messiah's regional site at CNU (Newport News, Va.), will also include the host Captains, Salisbury University, Shenandoah University, Rowan University, and Lynchburg College. The regionals tournament will be played in a double-elimination format.
Regional play will begin on Wednesday, May 16, when the #6 Falcons will take on the #1 Captains.
