Grand Lake, CO - The Messiah College Falcons have been ranked #13 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Preseason Poll, released Friday, February 3. Messiah is only one of two MAC institutions represented in the poll, with #20 Elizabethown receiving the poll's final spot.
The Gettysburg College Bullets-- the reigning National Champions, are ranked #1 in the IWLCA poll. They are one of eight NESCAC schools present in the top 20.
Messiah is coming off a 2011 campaign that included the program's
third MAC Championship and
trip to the Second Round of the NCAA Championships.
