Complete CoSIDA Academic All-American Teams

Alicia Frey and
Alex Brandt were recently named Academic All-Americans for women's soccer, honors delivered as they were preparing for what proved to be a National Championship weekend in San Antonio, Texas.
Frey was named to the First Team All-American team, with Brandt named Third Team.
The Academic All-American award is presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), with Frey and Brandt qualifying for their honors after
being named Academic All-District last month.
Frey carries a 3.82 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as a Mathematics/Secondary Education major. While proving to be one of the most versatile players in the nation, Frey has spent time at forward, midfield, and defensive positions for the Falcons this season. She finished this season as the Falcons' fourth-leading scorer overall, with 12 goals and four assists to her credit. In the recently-completed NCAA Tournament, Frey shifted to the defensive side of the field where she helped the Falcons allow just a single goal in six NCAA postseason games.
Brandt carries a 3.35 cumulative GPA as an English major, and completed her career with another standout season. Arguably one the best players in the game, Brandt led the Falcons in both goals (17) and assists (15). She also led the team with 12 points in the Falcons' six NCAA Tournament games.

essiah defeated Emory University 1-0.
