D3Soccer.com 2012 Men's Soccer All-Americans
Grantham, PA - Messiah College sophomore
Jeremy Payne was named Midfielder of the Year by
D3Soccer.com week, with head coach
Brad McCarty taking home Coach of the Year honors for the National Champion Falcons.
Defender
Carter Robbins joined Payne on the First Team squad, with classmate
Brian Ramirez honored as a Second Team member. Messiah was the only team to have three players named to the All-American teams.
All players were honored by
D3Soccer.com for the first time in their careers.
McCarty's honor is delivered after he led the Falcons to their third NCAA Division III title in his four years as the team's skipper. Over that stretch, Messiah has won four Commonwealth Championships and has achieved a record of 86-3-3.
